I cannot wait till the Freedom Weekend. God is going to do some awesome things. Boot Camp 1 here i come.
ReplyDeleteRight on! I am sensing that God wants to do something fresh and new in the lives of men in this critical season of our lives. It's time for us as men to STEP UP to the plate, STEP OUT in faith, and STEP INTO the new thing that God wants to do in our lives as men. - David
DeleteExpecting God to show up is huge! I often wonder how many times God showed up but my own doubts kept me from experiencing his presence and miracle. Satan wants us to think that we are too small and that our struggles don't matter. But the truth is, Is that God is too Big not to care and not to show up.
ReplyDeleteReally drawn to the article on refusing to be passive.
"As for me and my house, we will serve The Lord."
I felt God wants me to attend the freedom weekend, I know God is going to show up. I am so looking forward to the touch of the holy spirit, I just know he will show up.
ReplyDeleteAmen! We are counting on the Lord God of Israel to show up. The 8-man Journey leadership team knows very well that we are just servants of God, nothing more. We are like the men who brought Jesus water in pots at the wedding, and Jesus turned it into wine. We are like the little boy who brought 5 loaves and 2 fish to Christ, and he fed thousands. We are like those who rolled the stone away from the tomb of Lazarus, and Jesus raised him from the dead.
ReplyDeleteGod has chosen to partner with us and we are willing volunteers. You might say that, "our availability gives God opportunity to do miracles through us1" - David
just finished Boot camp 2. The fathers love letter touched my heart in so many ways. and i can relate to the father wound. I just did not realize just how much until i took another look at my life. I know this freedom weekend is going to be so awesome.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Larry. How I long for every man going to this FW to watch "The Father's Love Letter" web clip we have in Boot Camp 2 and to receive the revelation of the love of the Father. It is transforming. - David
ReplyDeleteJust finished boot camp 3. I remember in the army we worked together as a team. When us men get together we are doing something powerful. Lets win the battle for our lives. With God all things are possible.
ReplyDeleteBoot Camp 1 provides powerful thoughts that have rekindle a fresh desire in me to be a stronger man of God! I am chosing to reject passivity, accept responsiablity, lead courageously, and expect a great reward!
